ASHA improves village health care in rural Rajasthan for women and children by training local health care workers, ensuring quality, and increasing access through community based education and information dissemination with respect to vital health care rights and practices including child nutrition, inoculation, pre and post natal care, hygiene and reducing open defecation.
In 2017 we started working in seven Anganwadi in five villages in Kaman block in Bharatpur district of Mewat in Rajasthan. In 2019, we directly impacted on more than 6000 program recipients and conducting training programs for Workers of 311 Anganwadi, serving more than 150 villages the entire Kaman block.
